Honestly, what if Starclan held a grudge against Leafpool for trying to run off?
This cat, daughter of their favorite golden boy, the one who led the clans and themselves to their new home, the savior of their system and institutions that they literally depend on to exist,
Who they saw as their champion and chosen one to the point her very name bore their new holy sight.
And then she falls for some WC jerk off and not only breaks her med cat vow, but tries to abandon them, and then has the NERVE to try and keep it a secret.
Starclan having an axe to grind against her, and her sister by virtue of helping leaf cover up the kits is just fun to me. They don't go after Crow because he was just some snot nosed kid that they drafted for the journey cause they needed to fill a clan roster, but Leafpool?? She mattered
So they keep silent Playing impartial omnipotent observers, while quietly seething with very real, very human(not humans but you get the point) resentment
