Being an adult will have you unironically craving a vegetable
I am interested in exploring the Clans as a society and just how weird they are to all other cats. I imagine them as much centralized and organized as a society than any cat would be used to, and still have cats be obligate carnivores who can mostly stick to themselves.
cats form groups and societies based around a loose common identifier and culture, but they don't have systems of laws or incredibly strict hierarchies and roles of the clans
Because the main thing the Clans differ is that they have a paranormal force that binds the society together. It's why there is such a strict system of laws that is constantly enforced, why the clan system can survive subpar leaders without fracturing or power struggle.
It is a system that is quite literally unnatural, and everything else in their society was formed around holding it together.
Thinking thoughts about Bluefur and Thistleclaw and their whole Haneossia AU dynamic of being technically poly married at first then staying married for Whitepaw's sake all the while being miserable and antagonistic when suddenly Bluefur comes home pregnant which gives him the perfect blackmail material as he can now ruin her life just by declaring himself not the sire of the kits.
Given how they were still co-parents during the period of time of Deputy selection, I wonder if there was an unspoken agreement not to use anything related to that as ammunition.
I mean, two cats with pre-existing animosity now doing two of the most stressful social activities, raising a child and the Clan equivalent of campaigning? That is going to lead to some Very nasty venting if they want to avoid murdering each other. They just generally try to avoid DIRECTLY talking shit about one another.
So it gives Thistle a reason to not immediately attempt to fuck Blue over.
Imagine if when Starclan or ghosts are killed, so is the memory of them in every living being
Firestar crying over Spottedleaf’s dying ghost only moments later to not know why this feeling of grief won’t leave him

this is them as apprentices/tnp era since that’s when they interact the most

It's Leader ProgressiveForce-star from Warriors
Glad to see Adrian Tchaikovsky is continuing the well renowned tradition of books with moderately anthropomorphized animals, the Stoat character being evil as fuuuuckckkckck
I am worldbuilding a OC Warriors story rn, and I am trying to find a good title for bands of former clan cats that formed their own bands after the Clans collapsed to do their own thing before the Clans were reformed A term that is sorta negative and has connotations with violence and lawlessness but makes sense for Clan cats to use Warlord is a good fit, but I feel is too grand and doesn't fit the setting. Bandit is mostly focused on monetary good and also doesn't make much sense for the Clans to use too too much
So many Warriors protagonists become instantly more endearing when you aren't privy to their inner monologue I'm finding.
The energy you created on this patrol was really awkward. Please don't do that again.
to me the thing about deification is that something fundamental is lost in the process
people can’t be immortal. so in order to be immortal you can’t be a person anymore. you have to be distilled. stripped of everything. till you come out the other side as an abstract concept.
I think the reason I still enjoy tumblr is that even though this all still pisses me off, I know that anything that makes me mad on here is 100% earnest. It's not ragebait or engagement farming, y'all are actually just that stupid sometimes
