44. i love space. i wish there was actually viable space travel now and not just movies. i think it would be amazing to travel through the stars. maybe in another life.

45. magic ...well there are number of things that people thought were magic that turned out to be science, so yes i believe in magic. i believe there are things we don’t understand about our word yet and they are what one might call magic.

46 Aliens. they exisit, somewhere, at some point in time. maybe we will meet them maybe not.... but i can’t believe that with all the various lifeforms on this one planet, there has to be others out in the universe

Thanks for the ask, very merciful as I have run out of constructive things to do at work. :P

Dali: Do you have strange dreams? I don’t know what types of dreams count as strange and what type are normal. I am a good lucid dreamer and so I rarely have bad dreams and never really have nightmares. My dreams are usually very setting oriented and so the place they happen is the most important aspect rather than anything that actually occurs in the dream.

I often have dreams about slides (waterslides, amusement park slides) because one my earliest memories was this indoor play park with all these slides and I loved it and so when I’m excited about something, I dream of slides.

I also dream a lot about hotels, travelling to busy cities through crowded airports, and a midnight sun that doesn’t set. The places in my dreams are often portals or liminal places.

I’ve had one dream where I look at a map of places I’d visited in previous dreams and another dream that I was someone else completely and my plain was crashing and I woke up to discover a plane had crashed in the same place I dreamt, and the dream was very real and I don’t think I could have overheard a news report while asleep and had the dream but who knows?

Sisyphus : Do you feel like what you are doing has a purpose?

If this means “do I believe my life or life in general has a purpose” then no, none but what we imbue it with. I don’t believe in a grand design or providence or karma in any metaphysical way. I am probably less purposeful than most people I personally know in terms of what I really want out of life, which is just experiences, dynamism, connection. 

If we’re being more specific, I’m absolutely challenging myself to reach out, make new friends, be vulnerable and open and invite the connections I want to create in my life rather than being passive and often lonely as I’ve been in the past.
