Could be also that Louis doesn't want her to do something and take initiative. He has to stunt then at least he has that control how far this goes, how much and what kind of touching is okay.

Either way, this is not how most millennial couples are, even straight couples. The article is even written in a male-dominant way.

What does El have going for her? “Sartorial prowess,” “slender frame,” “pretty features.” “Louis ordered coffee” for both of them (is her voice box broken?). Louis “looks animated,” smoked, ordered coffee, looked smitten, strolled, shopped, tried on clothes. El = sois belle et tais toi.

As a stunt, it makes sense that Louis would want to control it. But how does anyone buy this relationship as organic?

100% agree with your last post about their dynamics. Louis is the one “in charge” getting the shots, grabbing her face, etc. And she just kind of lets it all happen without taking an active role. It does bother me even though I understand in a lot of ways why it plays out like this. I mean she’s hired to do a job which is to pretend to be a blank slate of a girlfriend for Louis’ public image so he is the one directing the whole thing.

The photos come off, for me, as a type of theater of sexual politics. They say so much even though they’re supposed to be organic and “normal.” It is pretty funny to read Eleanour update accounts though. By “funny” I mean... pathetic.

Hi there, may I just ask for a slight clarification on the post you made from the pap’s insta story. I’m a little confused. Basically he reposted other people’s stories that featured his photos but those stories had “negative” comments about the relationship. Maybe a subtle shade. Did I understand correctly? Thank you!

He reposted screenshots of other people’s stories. This is a pap who has posted from the Daily Mail before, presumably photos he sold to them (Rebel Wilson, on his insta).

It seems to me that he is unaccustomed to the 15-second fame that one gets from interacting with the 1D fandom. I don’t think he knows anything about Larry tbh. He was asked by fans about whether or not he was hired by Louis, and he said no (I read it on twitter but can’t find it now).

So I don’t think it’s really shade. I think it’s a laugh at how obsessed people seem to be. His tags suggest he just wants a bit more attention.

I'm a bit confused, I saw what betterstllbemywindingwheel posted but I'm confused, the blogger said elk was there wearing the merch and they kissed (I believed it because the blogger was there right? I can't open her blog bcs I don't have tumblr) but then people said the one with merch was a fan with fanmade merch not elk so... Idgi was she really there and people really saw the kiss or..? Because so many different rumors I saw

I haven’t seen any actual footage, so I don’t know. From what I read, I think Eleanor was there wearing Louis’ merch, but Fizzy was also there and there was another fan with homemade merch. I’m not sure the blurry photo I reblogged was E, but the merch was amazing. Huge blue smiley face, maybe glow-in-the-dark? At this point, I think E is here for a while. Louis has had a total of two girlfriends in the last eight years, and E is a girl with absolutely no commonality with Louis: her family doesn’t interact, they have no friends in common, when they travel, they take photos with fans separately, she wants nothing to do with the northern working class image, she doesn’t support LGBT causes or any charities (that I know of), she doesn’t do interviews because there is literally nothing to say. What would she say? “Louis is an amazing musician, we’ve been boyfriend-girlfriends for six years, and I know for a fact that he drinks water and sometimes eats food.” I mean? She is a signifier only. If not Eleanor, there would be someone else. They share some clothing brands, the same as Hamille. They show up to promote Simon’s projects, as expected. Louis’ managers are there to deal with his career, and did not interact with her. They follow her on SM which is also a signifier only. She is a known commodity. She is discreet and reliable. She won’t blab to the media. Danielle left because she has a career to pursue, but El stays because this gig pays, and it’s easy.

To be honest, I think E could be around for a bit or she could just be around to get through baby gate ending and a little past. The thing with E is that since she's been around a long time, and he already had to talk a bit about songs on his album maybe being about her, is that if they break up, the songs will STILL be attributed to her. Whether they are together or not. Kind of like how they want to attribute songs to Kendall/Taylor from Harry's album. They don't have to actually BE together.

Well, their songs couldn’t possibly be about Larry! I agree, Harry and Louis don’t really have to do anything. A ring and a kiss constitute a relationship these days.

Hi Anon it was during LTWT AUS leg of the tour I think? Fans were queueing and found out Louis unfollowed Eleanour & we were all already clowning & some time later likes were also disappeared & finally someone figured our or we just thought maybe she just blocked & unblocked him for some engagement on her insta.
