Part 2 of 3

To begin I played with the vacuum tubes themselves to see what the color of the heater running was like next to some LED’s I had in stock. For this project I won’t be using the tube’s heaters themselves because it’s going to be a battery operated wall decoration so I don’t want to be changing batteries every few hours lol. The final result is the LED being hot glued to the base of the vacuum tube. I used an over sized resistor the yellow LED because it made them look more amber like the heaters in the tubes. (+20% over calculated resistor value)
