Basically, what officials are saying is that if you can not beat them, join them. Therefore, the authorities decided to show them how to do and, since 2004, has been the creation of a single car every year, in collaboration with several renowned German tuners.
This year, six cars brought to the Essen Motor Show and we took pictures of them all.
The Mini E
In 2011, AC Schnitzer was called to create a special MINI model for this purpose. The preferred weapon was an electric MINI, also known as MINI E. As this was a unique project specifications are not exactly impressive.
The car will do 100 km / h (62 mph) in 8.5 seconds and reaches a total power of 204 hp and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque, not much, but it is no less impressive.
He also received a full wrap Foliatec, and a complete AC Schnitzer body kit features a new hood, new bumpers and new wheels.
The 2.8i ACS4
Another creation AC Schnitzer present at the scene was ACS4 2.8i last year. It is a standard 428i modified by AC Schnitzer to 294 HP and 420 Nm (309 lb-ft) of torque instead of the shares of 245 HP and 250 Nm (258 ft-lb).
He also received the full ACS works abroad and sheath Foliatec Police along with a lightbar and other distinctive features
The last Brabus 112
This is a smart fortwo cabrio Brabus modified by having a 3-cylinder engine making 112 HP and 150 Nm (110 lb-ft) of torque and a top speed of 170 km / h (106 mph). It will do 100 km / h (62 mph) in 9.5 seconds.
The aim was to show that it can also be green with your setup. Therefore, the Brabus emits only 129 grams of CO2 per km, an impressive figure for the time. Of course, this police car was designed for indoor use in the city.
