My chronic pain flares up like this and I think it's from feeling guilty about not doing much- even though I know my body needs a break. However, a lot of my chronic pain can both be diet or stress caused. Mine personally is more stress caused than diet, so if I'm not doing much and feel guilty about it, I get stressed out and my pain gets worse. It could be different for you, I don't know. Maybe something to consider though.
No, I feel you, I have a few main triggers that make “normal” daily flares worse: stress, diet, pushing myself. I’m starting to be able to tell the difference in how they feel. After a sleepover last week where I ate junk food, I felt all... blehgghh for like 3 days after. And the guilt thing I totally get too.

I think it's a combination of suppression and fighting the pain. The resistance causes tension and when u finally have time you have to untangle and confront all of it. Ugh so me after vacation/long trips
That makes sense. Maybe also like, when I’m busy and pushing myself I am distracted so even if the pain is bad I can try to focus on other things. But then once I can actually just chill, I feel it much stronger because I’m not doing anything.

my kitty will eat all his wet food, but when he's done he tries to burry it too ): he spends like ten minutes scratching at the tile to try and cover it ):
I always say to Jeremy, “it’s not poop! Mommy made you that dinner from her heart!”
