Remmy’s head snapped up so quickly, the brunette almost gave herself whiplash. A Cheshire grin broke out as the petite woman dashed over to hug her friend.                “It has been. I’ve missed you so much!”

“I’ll be honest,” Sakura broke the silence while gently cleaning the cuts on the young woman’s arm. The injuries weren’t too serious and very common among trainees. Sakura had dealt with her fair share of the same ones on her younger years, too. “After our team, I was almost sure Kakashi-sensei would swear off teaching.”

He was aware of some of the effects of the girl’s bloodline, and truthfully, he’d spent more than one day avoiding the girl because of it. Leaving her to roam free was a security hazard, and not even the sort he’d be allowed to do anything about, thus, avoidance. 

Today the plan had been intended to be no different. Unfortunately, the girl practically landed on him as a weak beam she’d used as a spring point had given out under her when she’d landed on it, leading to a hasty step back for him, and a less than graceful landing for her. “You need to gauge better.”

Since the attack on the Leaf by Pein, Shino had been doing special training. He felt that he wasn’t strong enough, as flashbacks of the attack ran through his mind, and bugs danced through the air with great force. Sounds of whizzing could be heard as they spiraled and whirlpooled , fingers intertwining and with blood sacrifice, in an explosion of smoke he called forth a massive rhinoceros beetle. It released a bone chilling cry when chill ran up his spine. Someone was watching his show, his training montage and he didn’t quite like that. Just as quickly as the gigantic beetle arrived, it quickly left as he released the summoning. The whirling kikachu had found refuge back within him, breaking through his skin.

     “…reveal yourself.”
