F.D.N.Y. Rehab unit 1. if anyone know about the history of the F.D.N.Y. then they will know that this was one of the old rescues in new york. i am pretty sure the other three were refurbished with mack cabs. Rehab units were only called to second alarms or greater. They were replaced sometime between the lat 80's to mid 90's with RAC units made up of ex military ambulances. when rehab 1 and rehab 2 were rescues they were bought to replace the Mack/Pierce rescues.
