the assignment's a 'visual representation', plus a short explanation of visual techniques used etc i don't even know. last time we had to do a visual representation i photoshopped the word 'shylock' onto a giant red rat and waffled a bit about justice and extended metaphors and money...you guys got to do the cool shakespeare plays we got stuck with the merchant of venice and romeo+juliet ):

i made some shit up about chains and stuff when i did an assignment on romeo and juliet because chain stitch is the fastest and cleanest to do I GET YOUR FEELS
LITERALLY THO 'her body has been overly stylised and is depicted floating from the waist-up to convey that this is not her true character' --> i couldn't be bothered to draw legs and i hate anatomy; 'the roses in the background are a cliche for love; this overused imagery demonstrates that romeo only believes himself in love' --> there was too much blank space and i needed something to fill it
