Pokemon Card of the Day #3002: Electropower (Lost Thunder)
Electropower wasn't anything fancy. It was an Item card that, when played, made your Lightning Pokemon's attacks do 30 more damage to the opponent's Active Pokemon for that turn. Any Lightning deck would want to not only play this, but play 4 copies, as 30 was quite an impressive damage multiplier and you could stack them for a huge hit. With Pokemon like Pikachu & Zekrom-GX, Zapdos, and even the later Vikavolt V being rather good already, Electropower was a very common sight in games from the moment the Team Up set was released until Electropower rotated out.
