Murphy is a girl? Adorable.
Oh yes. It causes quite the confusion as everyone assumes she’s a boy at first. Had a dream a year before I got her that I had a Boston Terrier named Murphy so it seemed the only name that fit. It suits her perfectly (though my entire family thought I’d lost it at first).

Sadly, I haven’t seen Mt. Yoshino in person. From what I recall, they only look like that in the mountains for a couple of weeks at the most and cherry blossom season can be finicky (some years it starts in March, other times in April, and ranges from province to province). It’s difficult to plan a trip timing wise unless you’re already in the country. It’s on my bucket list as well, rest assured :D I wrote it into one of my Inuyasha fics (The Hunter) as a reminder to actually go there someday hahaha! Hope you’re enjoying your trip across the pond ;) Merry Christmas!

It was duck this year and we were quite greasy and...
Sounds delish! We did duck last year and this year’s selection was a leg of lamb - absolutely delicious! Turkey just doesn’t do it for us, but it took ages to figure it out as everyone was too polite to say anything haha! The weekend was perfect walking weather - you’re so right! We got a few in ourselves, which Murph was a big fan of. Fingers crossed those winter temps hold off a few more months! Have yourself a great week :) Give the newest little one a snuggle for me! I maintain amongst friends that they likely did go to the moon, but not necessarily when they said they did given the gaping chasm between the technology available then and now. Even if the tech was military grade, it was still the 1960s...
Some people side-eye me for saying that, but those are usually the same people who raise a brow when I suggest that in this vast infinite universe full of infinite possibilities we may not be the only sentient life. So that tells me everything I need to know hahaha!
