✨ What was your inspiration in making your muse?
This is actually my fourth developed reincarnation of the personality Elutia.
I originally made her in World of Warcraft to hang out with a friend oocly on a different server than the one I was as he had moved his character from the one we were originally on. One night he and I were sitting around outside of Teldrassil talking and just started role playing. I didn’t even have a personality for her so kind of just went along with whatever seemed right for her. She was a Kaldorei Druid. She was created 2007. She was my main for 3 years straight and played another 2 years off and on. She found her happily ever after and eventually I retired her.
I played around making new Elutia’s for a while in WoW. They never took.
When I left World of Warcraft and went to FFXIV for a while I made Elu Delouche which was based off the WoW version of Elutia. However with character lead she eventually became a completely different character. Sadly the roleplay I had with her went in a really bad direction and eventually she became so difficult to play I put her on a undetermined hiatus and will most likely eventually retire her as well.
I also have a developed Modern AU human version of her that I role play with that I started when still playing FF.
I returned to WoW and went through several transitions of making new Elutia’s finally settling on a Ren’dorei version with the help of my main rp partner. However I never truly finished developing her before he had to drop the role play due to real life issues on his end. RP wise the story was connected to another character of mine that had twisted time to her own selfish wants. It rubber banded twisting everything back to the original timeline in which that incarnation was transformed into the one that I am currently using.
This incarnation of Elutia is only a few months old. I am actually still learning/developing her. She is based off both the original Elutia and the FF Elu but just as both of them became their own standalone character. She too is beginning to do so with bits and pieces of them as her base personality.
I will most likely always have an Elutia/Elu as she is one of my favorite personalities to play. It is always interesting to see just how different each one turns out from being put into different situations/pasts/race/class. Each always becomes its own stand alone character despite carrying the same name and base personalities from past ones.
