fire land is actually just a long, long active volcano range there's just constant smoke and lava everywhere you go and the people there drink that instead of water (water's really unhealthy for them) and it does taste different depending on where you get it. they put fluoride in the city lava

the best part of element world is that the villains are toxic yuri

so people connected to the wind element have wings just like classic feather wings. the less connected they are to their element they actually have bigger wings in order to compensate for their lack of raw power in serious cases they actually have another set of wings lower on their back. if a wind has a kid with someone of another element their wings actually change

water-winds have their oil that coats their wings that allow them to dive into water and easily fly back out with no trouble and if they stay underwater for awhile their wings turn into fins. if their water parent is a freshwater element then they have dragonfly/bug wings. fire-winds can have either leather wings or wings made of fire if their connection to fire is strong enough

lightning-winds have metal feathers to conduct lightning. ice-winds on average have shorter wings in order to conserve body heat and frost tends to coalesce in between feathers. shadow and light elements can't have kids with anyone but other shadows and lights and this is where a fun concept comes up

in this world there's this thing where each element has an opposite. fire and ice, water and lightning, earth and wind, shadow and light. no one can be a combination of 2 opposites cause those elements are fundamentally opposed

in element world there are these like families that're in charge of protecting the tree (it's kinda recent started like 10 generations ago or so) like 1 per each element and the main character is this dude named Jonas who's the youngest Schwartz son (the shadow family). he had a situationship with the youngest Sonnen son (the light family) Rudo when they were kids. as shadows/lights there's parts of their body that're like raw shade/light, Rudo's is his leg and Jonas' is his hand. the bigger a patch is the more powerful they are in their element Rudo's is huge and Jonas' barely goes over his wrist

lightning have an ambient amount of electricity that builds up in their body and they can discharge it whenever they want, when they're low on charge their eyes and hair are dark and when they're charged their features glow
