Nerdy computer update stuff that no one asked for.
So, I'm no longer using Firefox. It took a bit, but I'm now using FireDragon because it runs better on my PC, and is more enjoyable over all. (Seriously, this browser is so under-rated, and it has none of the Mozilla tracking stuff.)
I'm now split between using Element.Io and Discord. Eventually, the plan is to stop using discord entirely because I've noticed some super concerning things about it, and I've decided that it's not a good idea to rely on it anymore. But because of some connections and commitments, I can't move away from discord just yet.
This is due to the recent discord hacking and also the fact that there is a way higher risk of getting banned from discord if you're having political discussions of any kind. It's really concerning, and quite frankly I'm done censoring myself in chats.
Btw, if you had to give your ID, credit card number, or anything of that sort to discord support, you might wanna start checking to see if they were stolen in the new discord hijacking.
This is exactly the kind of shit people were worried about when all of this age verification shit came around. And honestly, with how god awful discord moderation is, this is truly unsurprising.
