Update on the memberlist/directory
mobile:
having trouble uploading multiple videos so this is part 1: the mobile screen version
Old throwback template for HELIO. This is an Information Guide on Space Sub-Colonies for each space colony. This is a full video of the scroll down. I have a different format for site content but this site is impossible to finish and these are sub-colony ‘tour guides’. I can’t remember where the inspo graphic is from. Helio is truly my Lambchop project, aka: the skin/site that will never open because it’ll go on and on my friends Lazy AF Overachieving Content Creator Here. T_T
Edit 07/06: Found the Source.
OCCULTUS • So.... I failed the skinathon. Super busy... :/
I’m currently going through a hectic, laggy patch but I’m slowly chipping away at some incomplete projects. This was for the Jcink Skinathon #failure.
Occultus is a simple Southern Gothic inspired skin. This update is for the post-rows/mini-profile, main profile (pop/slide-in), and the pop-up alerts. I included the slide in modules to show that the Navigation / Menu Modules and the Pop-out Main Profile basically fit as a theme or aesthetic.
I’m messing around with a few fun ideas for a multi-character shipper.
DWR - small feature for custom checkmark and edit/delete ‘button’ (for admin/mod) and link (for user). You can see the ‘full post rows’ found here.
Skin #3 - Week 7
Codename: Memento
Genre: Dark Supernatural / Post-apocalypse / etc
Element: Some Basic Site Templates
I have a strange obsession with customization.
Basically all the templates start with: <div id="tmp" class="CLASSES"> Then the actual template follows with <div class="dev-1"> or <div class="req-1"> or <div class="tmp-1">. Basically you can change the color scheme, size, font, scroll, etc for posts. And for the devs you can add filters, specify shapes, size for images, as well as column numers. In that case all the shapes/columns/rows/etc stuff is in just one template and you input the classes.
The goal is to keep it simple for users... and also to keep folks from messing up the codes... My Skinathon schedule is weird because I did postrows & miniprofiles together, so I’ll probably do another miscellaneous element next week.
Skin #2 - Week 7
Codename: Germ
Genre: Mythology + Creationism + Who-Knows
Element: Some Basic Site Templates
I’m not totally happy with the templates here. I’ll probably simplify it even more. It’s not a v. wide area for the most part so I’ll probably adjust it in the final week. It may just end up relatively bare to emphasize the white-space.
Just a random tiny update on the Memento templates.
Firstly I improved on my timeline code that I made for Heliocentric: Link
Initially I relied on a bb code to do all the work but now it’s purely css and folks just have to use <p></p>. It took 9ever but it was a fun accomplishment.
The second is a thread tracker where all you have to use is <ul><li>link & info</u> and it does all that table of contents stuff for you. Like I’ve stated in previous posts I’m on a mission to simplify everything. I just needed to share this tiny victory lol. I’ve got a weird fixation on making all the css/coding mystical....
