RE: the forums! Essentially I divided the categories to make the 10 main forums tabs, and then I place the 7 subforums into the tab content section. It was tricky but fun.

I have a strange obsession with customization.
Basically all the templates start with: <div id="tmp" class="CLASSES"> Then the actual template follows with <div class="dev-1"> or <div class="req-1"> or <div class="tmp-1">. Basically you can change the color scheme, size, font, scroll, etc for posts. And for the devs you can add filters, specify shapes, size for images, as well as column numers. In that case all the shapes/columns/rows/etc stuff is in just one template and you input the classes.
The goal is to keep it simple for users... and also to keep folks from messing up the codes... My Skinathon schedule is weird because I did postrows & miniprofiles together, so I’ll probably do another miscellaneous element next week.

I’m not totally happy with the templates here. I’ll probably simplify it even more. It’s not a v. wide area for the most part so I’ll probably adjust it in the final week. It may just end up relatively bare to emphasize the white-space.

Feature wise, I’ve been fiddling with variables and classes and having way too much fun - hence the city / species / color graphics for the directory & memberlists.
Memento is finally up to the progress level of Germinate & Paradiso. The next element is the main profile... hopefully I can finish it in time for week 6 (ie, tomorrow). Herpaderp. Fun times.

My uber minimalist skin is uber minimalist.
The vertical bars for the list of online users. If there's enough to scroll, you can scroll via up&down, though I might mess with that. Not sure. It's all very simple. Recent Topics is similar in style to the Site's Topic List.
I’m adding a 3rd skin hopefully so I’ll catch up with the elements for that and the Stats for Paradiso. Trying to gain some restraint... by having no restraint.

The site has a heavy creationism/mythology vibe. It’s complicated but basically there’s a set number of character availabilities and that only increases when a character is made. Each character has 3 scions/offsprings. Kinda like Chaos -> Gaia -> etc... Idek anymore lol
