Elemental opposites: Earth & Air
A lot of people love pointing out how fire and water elements balance each other out and making sun/ moon analogies about Zuko and Katara, but it’s not said enough how the opposing elements would balance each other out with Toph and Aang, as well.
She grounded him.
He gave her freedom.
Just like with Zutara, Taang would have balanced each other out.
