MLP: Aiise by witchcraftywolfen (Circa 2009)

Aiise is part of a trio of elemental ponies, the others being Phyre (Fire) and Yrdd (Earth).

I'd noticed a few fellow pony customisers doing ponies with lovely opalescent wings and swarovski crystals -- most noticably *lovelauraland, ~MBryan, ~NordicPonyBoy, & ~Roogna, just to name a few -- and couldn't resist making something sparkly and opalescent myself! The base pony was a g3 (I *think* Piccolo).The wings are made of opalescent tissue and a funky, bendy tree ornament. The sequins on the "snow" on the back and face were ones that had shed from the ornament. The skin is the original skin. I painted over the eyes with metallic paint and glitter, then added the swavorski crystals. For the fringe above the hooves, I got this idea to use hot glue to do an icicle effect. And I added iridescent glitter to the ice and snow. The mane and tail are three different shades of iridescent embroidery thread, which I pinned in place by putting straight pins through knots; I also added opalescent beads to the mane. The swarovski charm on the chest is one I found in a crack in the sidewalk where I went walking the day before I made this -- what luck!

MLP: Yrdd by witchcraftywolfen (Circa 2012)

An original custom, companion to Aiise (Ice) and Phyre (Fire). Yrdd (Earth) is made from an Imperial fakie. He leans horribly on his own, so I stuck a jewel under his foot to make him stand straight. XD He was originally supposed to be a plant-themed pony, even after I bought the x-mas tree decoration which his wings are made from, but when I spotted this scrapbooking sheet of jewels, I just knew he had to be a dragon hybrid. At least I kept the branch-horns. In fact, it wasn't until after I was done that I realised my lord Loki had a hand in this. XD (Green with gold horns? Yeah ....) You probably can't tell in the photo, but the dark-green areas have a faint blue iridescent sheen and crystal glitter.

MLP: Phyre by witchcraftywolfen (Circa 2009)

Phyre (Fire), a hippophoenix, is part of a trio of ponies, the other being Aiise (Ice) and Yrdd (Earth). Insdie Phyre is a tiny string of small lights. Phyre's skin and mane are intact from the original g3 pony (Cinnamon Breeze), save where I painted the front legs gold. The talons are gold pipe cleaners. The eyes are swarovski beads -- I actually cut holes so the light could shine through. The wings are a combination of: yellow-orange-pink tie-dye felt, the back side of it painted with gold and red metallic paint; pink-and-orange faux-fur; and a translucent yellow-and-red fabric, to give them the appearance of being on fire. Around the neck is a funky orange yarn -- the head is a bit loose, as I had to basically *cut* it off to get the lights in, and couldn't get it to glue solidly back together. XD The "tailfeathers" are a tree decoration. I added gold beads to the mane.
