It's another grinding Friday, no live stream again due to a busy schedule but at least the let's plays are covered into next week. May resume the live stream next week if I'm not too tired, but the priority is to keep the channel schedule full and interacting with the viewers. Making 10 videos in a day can take a lot out of a person once you do it long enough, & than there's editing

Just wrote up a large post, and then it disappeared, how annoying :/. Anyway, I’ve been trying to brainstorm ideas for more short videos that people will love, anyone out there I’d love to hear what you have to say. Titanfall is out, and unfortunately I have no $$$ to pick it up at this time, maybe next month….boooo. Another video on Starbound is out today, as I try to get that series moving. Well those are today’s thoughts, hoping to get some more ideas for more short videos soon.

Adjustments

As many let's plays as I've done the past few years, I want to start focusing on shorter videos. Why? Because informing people or entertaining them is easier, & people get a better sense of the creator that way. A viewer new to your channel may not want to watch a 10 - 20 minute video of someone they never saw before, shorter videos bridge that gap as viewers get used to creators.

So does that mean let's plays will stop? Nope, not at all! I still continue to do let's plays, but they maybe more spaced out more than normal so either entertaining or educational short videos maybe viewed. There could always be "3 video" days, but sometimes that feels a bit "overloading" & I don't want to put too much on some viewers. If you're new to the channel, these short videos will give you a better sense of who I am and how my videos roll, like this video on some Terraria accessories.

Yea, fishing for #Terraria was announced last month, but this video is more geared for the comedy than the informative aspect. Plus people love the short videos!

It's a post, on tumblr, holy crap. Yea once again it's been awhile, spending 16 hours a day working isn't easy, and then you try to sleep for the last 8. Hopefully more updates to come, I'll start using this to connect with folks on various levels, because that's what it is intended for right?

Hello internets, its been forever and a day since I last posted but I'm back and new equipment is coming! A lot of youtubers will tell you condenser mic's are great, and they really are, but if your room is an audio nightmare like mine, then you will either have to come up with a creative solution or just go dynamic. Going the creative route didn't work for me so now its on to using a dynamic microphone, the Heil PR-20 ut, will be here on Monday and the preamp and wire is already here. This should remove any background noise/echoing the tends to appear at times, so audio should get better. I will still use my Samson C10U from time to time, when it's appropriate.

I'm loving the Minecraft adventure map, Gone, and recently started a series on YouTube. Be sure to check it out and let me know what you think! I still need to find 2 more games to fill in the open slots left in the schedule, but I'm torn on what to do so nothing is on the horizon just yet. One more thing before I bolt, YouTube analytics says about 30% total on my viewer base is centered around the 35 - 44 female and 45 - 54 female viewership. I don't even know what to say about that, maybe they dig the sims 3 videos? who knows?
