Just wanted to say thank you to all those in the elementary fandom who have written fantastic critiques on the last episode. I have to admit sometimes when I watch my favourite show I put aside the problematic aspects as I'm so caught up in this being my 'enjoyable time' of the day so I sometimes don't look as deeply into aspects that seem off. At first glance I loved the idea that they would introduce another family member for Watson, to have more storylines directly for her but obviously it wasn't executed very well. It's upsetting cause if small aspects had been changed (removal of chapter 32 for one thing!), the episode would have been the best in over a season. But just wanted to say I appreciate reading those long responses to episodes as it always gives me a lot to think about and gives me ways to alter how I watch something - not just accept it blindly.
