Do you think Marvel should introduce an AU child of Colleen & Cyclops? And if so, how would you want them to be?
I could see it! I honestly don't have a clear vision of what that might look like beyond just the fact that Colleen and Scott's interactions delight me and I wish we had more of them. But it would certainly be fascinating to explore a universe in which perhaps they did end up together long-term and were a larger part of each other's lives-- Colleen as a non-mutant deeply imbedded in the chaos and tension of Scott's role as a leader in that community, and Scott as a larger player on the street-level, Nightwing Restorations/Heroes for Hire side of things. A universe in which they ended up with a child together (regardless of their relationship status) would also present a really compelling chance to see Colleen confront a type of challenge that we've never seen her face before. How would she approach the age-old struggle of being both a parent and a superhero? How would she approach passing on the traditions of her family? How would she, as a non-powered human, approach raising a child who might potentially be a mutant?
I'm not as knowledgeable about Scott, but I am aware that his 616 dating history and family tree are both tangled and complex, and so I could see this being a fun and interesting alternate take on his story as well.
Thanks for the great question!
