@daresplaining did you know there is a poll where Milla is losing :( I found this poll by random and now I'm sad :(
We need to hype her up no one knows her !!! when she's awesome !!!!! Thought about you and your Milla posts
Milla works in NY social services ! She houses people ! She's got a cool best friend ! She goes to find Matt Murdock on her own just to check if the rumors of him being Daredevil are true after being herself saved by Daredevil ! And she immediately knows it's true and immediately starts flirting ! YOU GO GIRL
Love girls who go get what they want. And she knows what she wants and she knows what she doesn't and is loud about it and she's there for Matt. And supportive but not a doormat. And funny ! Which is probably why he MARRIED her you know.
Thank you, @scienceoftheidiot! I couldn't have said any of this better myself. One of the coolest Marvel civilians and disabled characters of all time. Please check her out if you haven't met her yet! LET'S GO, MILLA!!!
Daredevil vol. 2 #94 by Ed Brubaker, Lee Weeks, Matt Hollingsworth, Stefano Gaudiano, and Chris Eliopoulos
Do you prefer the man without fear or daredevi: yellow as matt's origin story?
I like both, but if you're asking which I prefer for the comic's main (616) continuity, it's the original Stan Lee and Bill Everett origin, which Loeb and Sale used as the basis for Daredevil: Yellow, plus the later addition of Stick to give Matt's martial arts training more of a foundation (and also because I love Stick). And this has, for the most part and despite a few variations in the details, been the origin story that most DD writers since have used. I like Man Without Fear as an alternate universe reimagining. While I do have issues with it--mainly, the way Elektra is presented--it's a comic that I overall enjoy. There are even some details from it that I think would be fun additions to the 616 universe on their own, such as Matt's young gym buddy Mickey. However, as a whole, it makes a lot of changes that I just find less interesting than their counterparts in the original version: the bleakness of the tone, Matt being younger at the time of Jack's murder, the addition of a second accidental death to his first crime-fighting outing, the black outfit (yellow suit forever!), Elektra's characterization, as I mentioned... All of these things are perfectly fine and engaging to explore as What If?s, but I just personally don't prefer them for the main continuity.
Thanks for the question!

Daredevil vol. 8 #20 by Saladin Ahmed, José Luis Soares, Oren Junior, Jesus Aburtov, and Clayton Cowles
My favourites little guys. Just in time for the daredevil finale yay!
I imagine Matt would have an existential crisis knowing the accident that blinded him as a kid also mutated four little turtle dudes
Daredevil: Born Again The Southern Cross | 2.08
It's been years since Foggy was with someone, and I'm curious to know who this is.
He just deserves some peace and quiet, and I love it when he's having a good time, simply enjoying life as he should.

Tumblr's post format doesn't quite do it justice, but this page turn had me on the floor. There's great humor in this issue, along with some truly eerie horror.
Favourite Civilian: Semi-Finals Match One of Two
Foggy Nelson
Linda Park
Two of my favorite civilian characters of all time! Both with deep, rich, enthralling relationships with the superhero protagonists of their respective comics, while also being fully realized people in their own rights! They're both putting up with redheaded lovable douchebags in red spandex on a daily basis! There's no wrong answer here; I'm just thrilled they both made it this far.
putting this here in case I lose it
