I just thought about Daine visiting the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and I just I NEED FANART.
Established in 2016, the Reteti sanctuary rescues and rehabilitates young elephants so that they can be reintroduced to the wild.
The world feels like a disaster right now and I’ve been despairing. Then again, baby elephants!

Not quite Lili news, but look at this adorable baby elephant named Lili, born to Loijuk - an orphaned elephant who has been reintegrated successfully into the wild.
Loijuk brought little Lili back to meet the men who raised her! 😭

I went to the San Diego Safari Park a couple of days ago and saw the baby elephants!! One of the little beans was splashing around in the water! Best day ever!
p.s. why did I not know that kangaroos/wallabies (I don’t remember which one this is) are super super soft? I thought they’d feel like a goat, but they’re just pure soft. This seems like critical information. They’ll also hop on your feet if given the chance.
