my partner started showing me orphan black and we just recently finished season one and i do love all the clones, seeing an actor get to depict different iterations of a character is always so fun, but the way that the quirky smart gay one has been conceived of and executed so far drives me up the wall. im like so potentially here for her but the writing was just not quite there for me to buy her characterization/storyline. and her hairstyle. please...

the thing about the gay hockey show is that i have essentially seen 90% of it via gifs on this website, so the experience of watching it has been mostly seeing these disparate bits finally put into an official order. my sleeping brain had a solution for this last night though of: dreaming up an entire new episode from scratch.
this involved jane and lily getting kidnapped by lily's dead mom ? and trapped in these strange bubble worlds until after trials and tribulations lily managed to convince her to release them. upon being returned to his own parents, jane told them it was okay and to not pursue it further out of concern for lily. he then went home and screamed in his bedroom and played dragon's d*gma 2.
