I did a complete blood test/work up and found out that I’m still anemic, although now just borderline. I’m now taking iron tablets twice a day. And my cholesterol is “elevated”. A covering doctor replied to my inquiry so I haven’t seen my labs and don’t know what that means (like how elevated) but I was surprised by that. But seeing that heart disease/arterial disease has killed most people in my family (my mother being the most recent), I should probably take that seriously. They think I might be genetically predisposed to having higher cholesterol. So now I was recommended to start taking fish oil supplements. I know you can be skinny and have high cholesterol so it’s not necessarily something I can totally control but I need to try to get it under control if I have any say in the matter.
