I ran around in circles, but I couldn’t find u near

I ran down through the hallway, but I knew you were not here

I kept on spinning downward, to the crazy depths below

Where at last I found you standing, a site to end my woes.

I’m not a millionaire, but I don’t just have nothing.

I don’t have a car, but I do have a bike.

I don’t have a job, but I do have an imagination.

I don’t have many friends, but I do have a few.

I’m not a professional, but I do play sports.

SO...

I’m obviously not the best looking, or the fastest, or the smartest, or the coolest, but even though I’m not a millionaire, I can think of a million times that someone has informed me that I am special, that I do count, and that I am the most important person in at least one person’s world.

I lost on monday when she said ‘no’

I lost on tuesday when i broke the door

I lost on Wednesday and i ran on home

I lost on thursday, being alone

I lost on Friday, feeling blue

But i won on saturday, cause i found you.
