Today’s tea is Whittards’ English Rose, in my @elfcouture Fingon mug, of course. I also have new little teabag holders from Etsy in the shape of snails, so cute!
Inbetween the madness that’s been happening in my RL for the last little while (summary: mother-in-law had some treatment, it all went weird, she was in hospital longer than expected, but she’s fine and out now), I’ve been working on a new line of stuff for @elfcouture in preparation for @legendariumladiesapril!
It’s not done yet but I thought I’d give you a sneaky peek anyway. Some of the products are ready to go, others aren’t yet. Expect a proper debut on April 1st, no fooling. :D
Musings on mugs
So far the designs I’ve got for mugs for @elfcouture (and possibly shirts/tote bags down the line, once I quality-test) seem to fall into these categories:
1. I <3 [character]
2. I ship [pairing]
3. [Character] deserved better
4. [Character] did nothing wrong
5. [Character] Defence/Defense Squad
6. Proud Supporter of [Character]
7. What Would [Character] Do?
And there’s a few other misc ones (I’ve got one that says “The Eagles Are Coming!” which I really like. I’m technically on holiday at the moment but I’ve still been working on things, shh.
I could literally put anything on a mug so hmu if you want to do a collab and put your fanart on a mug! (Probably best if your art is black + white + at most two other colours.)

...it just occurred to me, looking through my extremely long list of products for @elfcouture, that quite a lot of them fall into the category of “shoes Idril would wear, if she had to wear shoes.”

I hate the Elf on the Shelf. There I said it. I hate the weird little felt doll with the knowing smile and the creepy eyes. Yes…creepy eyes. Just perfect for watching you…for Santa. Or so they say. That elf is a voyeur. Or the holiday version of Chuckie. I haven’t decided yet.
