A fairly well known ballad involving a figure that is sometimes described as her is known as "Elveskud", among other titles. While the variations of the tale involve the protagonist's, Sir Olof's, death at her hand, when she is included in the narrative, the versions under the name Elveskud involve how she causes his death through the sickness-bringing elf-shot.
