Things I learned about Santa:
Santa has an imaginary friend that occasionally wakes him up in the middle of the night to play. Santa makes his imaginary friend stand in the corner because that is not ok.
Santa is not used to people messing around with him in return. When this happens, he gets slightly confused.
Santa is obsessed with time.
Things other people should learn about Santa:
Neither Santa nor his helpers and elves are your babysitter. Stick with your kids. I don't care if there's no line.
Be nice to Santa. You never know when he's just had to deal with a kid who has leaked through the diapers, or just needs a moment to stand up and stretch. Yes he sits down all day. No, your kids are not that heavy, but he's been doing this for hours.
The lines are much shorter before Thanksgiving. This is a great time to bring kids who might be nervous or have special needs because there's more time to sit and chat with Santa.
Don't force your terrified child to sit on Santa's lap. It's a good thing your kid is scared of strangers.
