What was he like?! I find him hard to read in interviews!

Honestly I found you’re right. He was hard to read. When he first came out I found he was a little awkward. I should mention that our venue was very very small. Way smaller than the one the previous day that he posted a video of. I think there was probably about 30 people all squeezed in like sardines so there wasn’t a lot of room. I find small crowds like that are always hard for an artist to get comfortable with at first because they’re very personable. Luckily he loosened up quite fast and like I said the show was much better than I (who didn’t totally enjoy his music to begin with) expected. His songs sounded much better slowed down and acoustic and he spoke a lot about the meaning behind everything. Gave a lot of personal stories and dating advice to the few boys in the crowd haha. At one point he was telling a story about seeing some famous singer at a restaurant and trying to decide if he should go up to them or not and he asked us who we thought it was. Someone in the audience yelled Lauren Graham and he hung and shook his head and said that’s it shows over! (Totally joking! I feel it important to mention) and that was the only mention of Gilmore Girls. So as the show went on he loosened up quite fast and he was in good spirits and joking quite a bit. Some of his stories were a bit out there and hard to follow and my impression was that sometimes he is a bit socially awkward and so he talks to try and fill space and then it comes out a bit confusing? But he was enjoyable. When I went for my m&g it was just me and him in the room, no handler or other fans, just us. I’ve met a lot of people and I definitely found it the most laid back because I was just talking to him, there was no pressure about others listening to our conversation. Again I did find him a bit, not shy, but a little awkward, but that’s always the impression I’ve got from him in interviews too. He was nice though and easy enough to talk to. I felt a little bad to get my gilmore picture signed and I had to pay extra to get something from home signed but he seemed ok with it and joked about it being worth something some day. He definitely wasn’t there to talk GG and I was fine with that. We discussed his performance and I mentioned that I really enjoyed the acoustic set and he seemed pleased about that. So all in all he seemed like a nice guy. I wasn’t uncomfortable being alone with him. He was basically what I expected of him based on interviews. I couldn’t exactly read his thoughts on Gilmore since it didn’t come up much, but he did talk about the fans and how he would never turn down a picture if someone came up to him and he wasn’t used to it much because in LA people don’t care about him. I could tell that the band and music is what he was passionate about right now but he knows the reason he has the opportunity to do what he does now. This got long but I hope that answers your question!

He was really sweet. The photo ops go so fast though so I'm excited to get the chance to talk to him during his autograph today and I'll let you know how that goes! Apparently you can't miss the chance to do his autograph if you can!

Hi! What were your top three favorite things about the portrayal of Mockingjay in the movies and the top three you would change?

Ugh. This is hard because it’s just hard. LOL.

Top three favorite things about the portrayal of MJ:

1.) Canon. I loved how accurate it was to some of those really important moments: We burn, you burn. The nut. The hijacking. Peeta’s interviews. Peeta joining the squad.

2.) The feel and contrast of D13 & the Capitol. They did a great job of bringing that world and culture to life.

3.) Katniss needing Peeta was evident.

Top three things I would change.

1.) The real moment. UGH. I wanted and needed more. It didn’t have to be sex, but I definitely wanted intimacy in their moments and a really, wonderful kiss because they deserved it.

2.) The extra Galeniss that makes me want to vomit. It’s not canon. It’s unnecessary and honestly confusing to the audience who are kinda like, “what?” Especially for non-readers.

3.) The cave scene. I needed that thing to be full of hunger and delicious and everything I wanted out of the books.

Those were all super Everlark-ish. I know there are probably better answers and thoughts, but those are the ones that came to me.....more shown effects of the PTSD, trauma, scars, etc....Less Hayffie.....more of the Capitol in MJ....

Fictional character you would hang out with for a day: My mind immediately goes to Katniss, but honestly she’d intimidate me and she would not be okay with humoring me for a day. So I’m gonna go with Rachel Green.
