Ft. @elflion 's boy, Julien. Kaibara loves him very much and would kill and die for him. Elf once said that Julien doesn't go around climbing trees all willy nilly but he Absolutely would climb a tree with very little persuasion needed if the opportunity arose, and that's why this came about 😂

pen you are so wonderful, and i love your hat! this might be a weird question, but... you don't eat any of the wild things you forage? do you eat at all, actually?
Pen tries to think about what it is like eating the thing he forages, but doesn’t think that makes any sense.
He does look quite amused by the idea though!
i also have a headcanon that The Farmer is also, for some reason, the only person in pelican town who is aware that the exteriors of the buildings don't match up at all with their interior layouts
