The boy laughed as he ran. He’d ditch his chores on El any day if it meant getting outside earlier. “You know you still love meeeee!”

I'm so cold. It hurts and the noises, Maker they won't stop. Please, please just kill me, brother. Have some mercy. - El

Neil hefted El in his arms again, holding her close. He tried to remain strong. The Blight was a terrible thing to witness, especially in someone you loved. Seeing it in Westley hadn’t prepared Neil in the slightest. El was pale with dark veins running over her face--the spreading Corruption. Her words left Neil stumbling. Maker... Maker, no. He couldn’t lose her. They’d lost so much already. What was he supposed to do without her? “Just... Just hold on a little longer. We’re almost to the Wardens I promise. Just a little longer, Sis.”

oh i like you
“You’re not so bad yourself.” Winks.
"Here's my idea: we steal some Chantry robes, dress up as holier-than-thou priests, and spread blasphemy."
“You had me at steal some Chantry robes. This’ll be the best Hallows Eve ever.”
“I’ll be okay, because I know you’re back here ready to step in if I need you.”

He smiles briefly at his sister, but it wasn’t long before the worried frown returned. Neil pulled El into a bear hug. “Please be careful. I know it’s ‘The bigger they are, the harder they fall’ but he’s really big. I’ll step in if I have to, but I don’t want to,” he murmured, casting a nervous glance at the Arishok.
"Bit late to be wandering about, isn't it?" -elhawke
@elhawke
“A little. But y’know, I do love wanderin’ around in the dark.” He snorted, shaking his head. “It’s a bit easier for me though, elf eyes and all. What’re you doing is the question.”
El slides over, smiling with the smugness of a cat. "Soooo, how are things with our Lord Inquisitor?"
“...Are you asking personal questions ‘bout our herald?” he mumbled before throwing his drink back, a smirk at the edge of his lips. “...it’s going good, for what it’s worth. At least I think it is. You’ll have to try and catch him to interrogate him later for more info, but he might be a little more tight lipped ‘bout it.”
