Kelowna forward #2 Eli Barrett and Victoria defender #3 Justin Kipkie skate on the far wall deep into Victoria's zone in chase of the puck. Victoria defender #23 Nate Misskey slowly approaches from the slot. Kipkie rims Barrett out late at the corner, but fails to tie up his stick and Barrett slips a pass back to supporting forward #24 Jakub Stancl. Misskey brakes hard to cover Stancl, and a trailing Victoria forward reaches out with his stick, but Stancl has plenty of time and space. Kelowna forward #15 Levi Benson calls for the puck as he drives the center, and Stancl cuts to the slot and obliges. Victoria forward #28 Logan Pickford hurries to cover Benson, but he is too slow and Levi Benson tucks the puck home behind Victoria goalie #33 Jayden Kraus.
