your divine mercy reigns supreme,

you who controls the madness of man,

You, splashing the Earth with wine and merriment,

you who knows not only my name, but my soul,

She is the night,

Her black, star covered cloak swarming the world.

Her dark embrace holds us close, keeps us safe.

At Dawn and dusk, she seldom greets 

Her daughter,

But she always returns,

In her starry domain,

Where hope and calm are found 

And lovers promises are kept,

I find peace.
