true intention - this is a "song about couples fighting." it's a j-rap song featuring two characters, a girl and a boy, arguing in a rap battle style. it absolutely rips and is absolutely some sort of vent song to kc, with how some of her relationships go (actually, a lot of takayan's songs are sort of heavy vent/relate songs to her, since a lot of his songs cover themes of social disconnect, relationship struggles, dissatisfaction with one's life, all from the perspective of women and girls. i love this man dearly haha)

sweet (phemiec) - this is a homestuck song apparently and i've been listening to it for like idk 9 years and only realized this a few months ago when i was downloading songs. i haven't read much of homestuck. not since i was 15. for good reason. but from what i know of jane, and what the lyrics in this song say, this is a kc song for Sure.

reason living - BUNGO STRAY DOGS AAAAAAAAAAAAUAUGHHHH AGONY AGONY TEN THOUSAND AGONIES EVERYTHING'S DOOMED EVERYONE'S DEAD AND DYING BUT LIFE IS SO INEXPLICABLY WORTH FIGHTING FOR AND FINDING REASONS TO KEEP ON LIVING anyway, i added 3 bsd songs only because i like it a lot. and it was the previous hyperfixation i had before this one, so. i decided to honour it 🫡

hello kitty - i actually. don't know why i added this one to hers kahfdsjhgjsfakjdf maybe because i like the times where she gets to feel so cute n confident in herself, mainly when she's with aph. so i guess this is their song <3

fuwa fuwa dance - i sort of wanted a spot to put all the sickeningly sweet songs i like, so ofc i gave them to her to hold,, she's the cutest girl in the whole wide world after all

resentful life - another song about venting out frustrations with the superficiality of life and just deciding to say fuck it! let's scream and sing and dance it out!! our voices will drown them out for once

distortion - BABYMETAL LET'S FUCKIGN GO literally the only reason i added babymetal was bc they're my favourite. but i justify it with the fact that i really like the idea of kc having an alt side to her. my soft emo sweetie ,,, <3

not alone - she loves this one a lot, because it sounds like the lyrics are speaking directly to her, ugh it's so uplifting and sweet and perfect

too much period pain - exactly what it sounds like, heheh. it's a great song that disses the bullshit of men and highlights the problems women face under the patriarchy and completely validates feelings and experiences they have, that can be amplified by a period. i have no other reason i added this one to her playlist other than it's awesome haha

love you syndrome - another very very cute love songggg this girl loves so readily and so fully ;-;

transient - woah okay we're starting with this one. this is a song about being trans. i added it obviously because i hc trav as a trans man, but also because i felt it matched his vibe and related to how his experience with transness would go. with how a common theme with his character is how he wants to make himself appealing to other people (specifically romantic partners, but realistically that mindset would branch into other aspects of himself as well)

pretty girls i don't know anymore - i associate vaporwave stuff with trav a lottttt, ever since 2018. probably because that's when i rejoined tumblr, specifically for his voice actor. so it's kinda just likeee- 2018 tumblr (lotta vaporwave aesthetics) -> pm on tumblr (also into vaporwave) -> travis gets lumped in w vaporwave vibes. and he's been that way to me ever since. oh also this song was chosen specifically for the title; trav got around in college. manwhore <3

explaining each of my song choices in my vyladgene playlist because this is how i have fun

today i saw the whole world - of course i had to add a ptv song. and i will add more [threat]. this one is actually less about them in mystreet, and more about how i imagine their counterparts/ancestors would feel if they had to bare witness/address this relationship (so it's basically me making shit up. i know next to nothing abt mcd im not even sure if mcd vylad and gene interact one time and i have sincere doubts that they do (dont tell me otherwise; no spoilers))

carl - there's a sort of split in the playlist; which is something i do in almost all my playlists really; where one part is full of more lighthearted, lovely or even silly songs and then the other part is a little deeper, more emotional; but all the songs define their relationship. this one sort of represents how vylad provides comfort and support for gene in helping him with- yknow his whole deal. which is something they both do for each other, but this song is specifically highlighting vylad's part

nobody - if i didn't add a hozier song to this playlist i would've actually died for real. this is very much vylad's feelings about gene. the themes of having been well-traveled and experienced so much culture and excitement and yet preferring the love of one lil freak. and acknowledging that sure, he's flawed, but damn is he worth it

black coffee - this is the first song in the playlist because it's sort of the jumpstart of their relationship; gene catches feelings for the hobo he decided to let stay with him, but is still struggling with making up for his past mistakes and the guilt complex he carries, and is afraid of hurting someone again. but, he's fallen, and he's fallen in deep, and can't help but want to give it a shot anyway

no plan - they both have problems and shit that haunts them but fuck it they've got each other and they're gonna do their best to make sure one another get the life full of love they rightly deserve

more rambles bc i've been Thinking

thinijng just a littke more about Bohdie and Ein's duo potential

(which sucks bc i want. i dont want to leave kacey alone. but just idk justs Hold On a minute)

SO. first i'm going to start with the reason why i put bohdie and ein in the same playpen in the first place. and it's just really simple; ein has fuckall no friends.

nobody in universe cares about him. his "father" and his "mentor" and everyone he grew up around and everyone he's ever interacted with his whole life has always thought of him as Lesser. or a Monster. or a Tool or Weapon. just. anything but a person.

so, in comes bohdie! someone who genuinely doesn't care about most of anything exceptttt maybe 2 very important things: 1. the freedom to do as he likes and 2. that freedom for everyone else, too. which means, bohdie Doesn't Like Werewolf Social Systems!! or Truly Any for that matter!! he hates senseless restrictions and rules! so, he doesn't give a shit who's an alpha or omega. he is, essentially, what the werewolves would call a Lone Wolf. even tho he is pretty sociable

the other werewolves think he's odd for this, sure, but they don't really bring it up and just naturally distance from him instead. which isn't hard, bc bohdie's too busy playing drums in his friend's band and doing whatever it is bohdie does

now. i didnt mentioned this, but bohdie is an older brother. he has two younger siblings- fraternal twins, born opposite genders, one is nb- and he loves those kids to death. he's actually a really annoying, clingy older brother type but a bit of a dick about it- yknow what i'm talking about, right?

well, he's a little bit of that way with everybody, in general; if he's always taking opportunities to annoy you, it means he likes you. but if it's just on occasion (usually very pointedly), it means he doesn't like you at all.

at the start, bohdie didn't really care about ein at all. he knew he was the omega, and that he was kind of odd, but that's about it and he didn't care about it. he only started taking more notice when the others were always making a big deal out of him

shooting him looks, passing growls, stuff like that- things that they were supposed to do to an omega. "put him in his place" that sort of stuff. and that exact sort of stuff Really Pissed Bohdie Off

none of these people even knew this guy, the fuck did he do to deserve this randomass target on his back? sit quietly? smell nice? bohdie was getting fed up. but, before he could figure out what to do, it all just... stopped. died down. he didn't know what happened, but he figured that their Alpha must've taken care of it. he knew there was a reason he liked her from the get-go; little lady practically radiates good vibes (and also constant stress but that was none of his business)

still, he had grown.. a slight bit of attachment of worry for ein. all that bullying really irked him, and he wanted to make sure the guy was okay. because, well, bohdie's an older brother. and (though he'd never ever admit it) he's a very protective one, at that. and he's secretly always worried about and looking out for people.. to help keep them free

sooo (i say so a lot.), whenever he got the chance, he'd take the time to go out of his way to get closer to ein. which, ofc, was kind of hard! he never seemed interested in talking to others.. besides Aphmau- which bohdie understood, but also. bohdie didn't care. and thus Annoyance Begins.

they didn't interact much, but when bohdie got his opportunities, he took them. a bit of a tease here, a bit of a taunt there, and then bohdie would leave him alone. ein. fuckin Hated it like Man you were the one bitch that left me alone... now that i'm special You're Messing With Me? literally told not to do that. by the alpha. what the hell and fuck.

eventually, bohdie does wane off of him with the teasing, because he's like Yeah, he's fine. he's got the alpha's support he'll be fine. and then Oh Shit. HE'S made the alpha. and, at first bohdie continues not to care

but Then. ein starts all the stuff with less restrictions and rules on the werewolves... stops meddling in arguments, stops making them conform to human standards, stops trying to keep them in line, lets them have the freedom to do as they please

and bohdie was, of course, very excited with that. he suddenly thought ein was the Coolest guy in school. i mean, he didn't agree with everything he was doing; he thought appointing an omega at all was kinda fucked up and still conforming to werewolf traditions; but otherwise, he thought he was alright! And he got Way More Annoying about it.

like i said in my first post. eventually, bohdie thinks ein is his best friend <3 and ein wants to beat him with hammers <3
