he's part of a story project called "Dead Fish" and fittingly the fish boi is the protagonist

Funny enough bro is not the reason it's called "Dead Fish", that's just the name of the gang of dumbasses he hangs out with. He's a freelance artist struggling with college. Chronic over thinker. Nervous wreck. Also he's been for some reason chosen by a strange entity as her host, so now he has neat thematic sea powers and a tail.

He named the thing currently giving him power Yeoneo (연어), which is Korean for Salmon, because funny.

Sgt. Cuddles came back! He’s a little paler now in his ghostly form, but the bond between kitty and owner is strong, and Garrett welcomed him back with open arms. 

After a weekend of cramming, Garrett passed three out of four classes, which unfortunately still means he’ll have to wait another term before graduation. But with only one class, he can be less stressed as he tries to sort out where life is going next.

Winterfest morning Garrett and Eli decided to take their relationship a little more seriously, and officially became boyfriends.
