Eli was completely sprawled out on his living room floor as he focused on the 1000 piece puzzle he’d bought a couple days ago. He thought it’d be a fun thing for the two of them to do together on their day off. He grabbed the handle of his moscow mule mug and took a sip from it before setting it back down. “Okay, we for real need to focus on sorting the pieces first. Then work on the sides, yeah?” Eli tossed a couple of the side pieces into a box together. “We gotta work fast too before Icing notices what we’re doing.” Icing was his kitten that loved biting puzzle pieces whenever Eli wasn’t paying attention, and he really didn’t want Icing to run off with a piece, again.

Elisheva enjoyed starting work late, really anything that kept her from being up before 11am she was more than okay with, but then of course that always meant her arriving back home about 8 or 9pm and she was never really sure which she preferred more, getting to sleep in a little more than usual or not having to stay out working late. That night she very much preferred the latter though.

She had spent the past four hours or so wanting to work on a new song, to the extent even nearing the end of her shift that she wasn’t really actually focusing on her work, making her lucky that no one had really come in needing any help. Then, of course, she had gotten home and basically immediately she had collapsed face first into her couch, barely actually pulling herself up when she heard the bell, pulling her hair up into a haphazard bun on the top of her head as she walked, smiling brightly as she got to the front door and saw her cousin there.

“Hey! What’s up?”
