“Oh, is that all?” A snort of laughter rips through her, eyes rolling a little. The sound of Riley and Maddie playing in the background is enough to make her feel --- well, not quite so down in the dumps and of course, Eli is a big help in that department too. “No wonder you seem to have it all figured out,” she points out, voice somewhat teasing though she really does think Eli is one of the funniest people she knows. It’s rare not to be smiling with him around, and even with this dark cloud hanging over her head, he brings a sunny warmth.

As Sophie made sure to work on a priorities’ list upon hitting the island, there were a couple of things the brunette had already been able to tick off. She had already found and conversed with the royal under her tutelage, she had already stopped by her new place and unpacked. She had already grabbed supplies she would need over at the warehouse. She had already gone through with her birthday tradition, which meant there was only another thing left for her to do: visit Eli. It had been something the first mate had procrastinated, for she was not sure what could happen when she saw him. Sometimes her actions could be a tad unpredictable.

Still, when she couldn’t avoid it any longer, she threw one of the cupcakes she had baked inside of a box and happened upon his door. Not expecting that he would be in conditions to answer if she’d knocked, she simply made her way inside. “Eli, I hope, for your sake, that you’re not up and doing anything stupid, for if you are, I have no idea what I might end up doing,” the brunette announced, heading over to the bedroom.
