I know so wild. 7. What is your OC(s) favourite food(s)? Considering Elianir's nature, he wouldn't really feel a need to eat period, and just give his food to someone else. However, that's not an answer. He'd probably eat berries without problems. 11. If your OC(s) was going to be a mythological creature, what would they be? I really hadn't thought of it before, so I suppose thanks for the Wikipedia searching. I can't say I'm still fully sure, but I think the figure Chiron from Greek mythology works for Elianir. Immortal yet civilised because of the gods that basically raised him, helping and teaching characters (especially youth) who end up great figures in history and the association with stars. 15. Does your OC(s) have any pets? Or have they had in the past? Technically, he was the pet. So unless the other messengers count, he likely wouldn't.

Wip Wednesday

@sanathewolf dragging me into things again, hooray. I don't have a consistent writing habit so it's still just me working on Protostar the FFXV OC fic.

Also Somnus fans step up, it's tiring being the only one in the latests.

Somnus held his weapon ready in his hand, ready for any sudden attack, given the need only for the man to pass him without a second glance. He wasn't sure whether to be insulted by the man's attention being more focused on the surrounding ground.

"Alright." The word a substitute for a scoff as he turned to Gilgamesh, who had quickly come back to his side when the man passed him.

His hair coiled around itself, barely covering the nape of his neck. He stood so stagnant while he heeded the ground that Somnus could barely drag his eye away until the man knelt down.

A ring of metal voiced its presence as the man picked what he'd found. He looked over the familiar sword, shaking and wiping off the ground's residue before turning it around. The blade tilted between his fingers, weighed by the hilt that he held out towards Somnus.

Wip Wednesday

You guessed it @sanathewolf! Hahaa. I'll be honest I don't think I worked on Protostar at all this week so instead you have short clip of the scenario that I daydreamed so hard I needed to write it down. (partially) ((Still Elianir though because I'm single minded for my OCs))

Elianir blinked. Unobscured by the light, his eyesight focused on the silhouette as it resembled more of a man. The spikes on their head separated into hair cut short in varying lengths. Their skin, pale in contrast to the hair's dark shade. His eyes staring down at him in that familiar blue.

Somnus.

Elianir's lips parted to call out his name upon this realisation, but his throat denied him the chance. It clenched around itself before any sound could come out.

It can't. He's not here. He is not around anymore.

This must be what a dream is.

Somnus's insistent gaze softened upon him despite the furrowing of his eyebrows. "Perhaps that is for a reason? You look out of it."

The sound of Somnus's voice ran through every wall he built in his thoughts. His breath staggered in the memory of it. At just how him it was compared to the mimicries.

Elianir's chest got tight around his heart. Each beat a harsh pump that restricted the air that passed his lungs. His ribs were digging into his gut, pushing the immeasurable guilt he felt.

Somnus placed his hand over Elianir's open palm. Somnus's hand was warm as it covered his hand. His cold..? "Look, I'm here."

Elianir looked at their joint hands for a good while. His fingers already curled around Somnus's despite his daze.

"I'm sorry."

It took the strain in his throat to realise it was his voice that said it. He regretted it immediately.

Somnus leaned his weight on his free hand. "What for?"

Words failed Elianir despite them being the baseline for his purpose to exist.

11. What's the easiest way to annoy your character?

Elianir does not like ranged combat. He finds it cowardly and in general a nuisance to the point any sight of a gun will get him annoyed before the battle even starts.

12. What's the easiest way to entertain your character?

Despite not realizing it himself, Elianir enjoys listening to other people's conversations. He'll worry about his own words often since half the time they carry more weight that it's nice to just have at least a couple people saying whatever before contributing.

25. Will your character ever get to live normal life?

I'm not sure he'd know how to even if given the chance. His whole existence kinda relies of following thought things beyond normal life. When he first got the chance he distanced himself the moment it clicked that he was beginning to prefer it.

So likely not without some major self revaluation. Or literally stripping him of any duty to do.

6. Can your OC(s) cook? If he really wanted to Elianir could probably learn to. However, I think he'd mostly just skip the step and get stuff you can eat with little to no preparation since he doesn't have to eat much himself.

11. Is your OC(s) colourblind in any form? He is not, but if he did, it would probably be scourge induced achromatopsia (only seeing in black and white) due to a certain Ardyn fanfic I read about it. Elianir likely wouldn't even notice for a while since his infection would only get bad enough in the AU where the long night never ends.

14. What is your OC(s) favourite time of day? Elianir's favourite time of day, ironically, would be not day at all. Night is when he's most active and actually has things to do other than sit around and pass the time. Plus the stars only really show up when it's dark.

4. Has your OC(s) ever stolen something?

Other than hearts no and he likely wouldn't without reason. He's not the type nor does he really need other people's stuff.

8. Has your OC(s) ever broken a bone?

Oh definitely. With the amount of fighting he assigns himself it's almost inevitable. He'll find it annoying since he'll have to stay still for the time it takes to heal right, even if it's just a few minutes to him.

12. Is your OC(s) right-handed, left-handed or ambidexterous?

Elianir is left handed but he primarily uses his right in fights, slightly debuffing himself. Mainly it's because he doesn't want to have a weakness and there's a hint of pride in beating things at a disadvantage. He's not gonna tell you that though. He'll say it's to shield his heart in battle.
