Elie Saab was self taught fashion designer whose interest in dressmaking started at age nine when he began making clothes for his sisters. The couture atelier opened in 1982 presented his first collection and instantly won critical attention.

The designer magnifies femininity, building his creations with intricate hand detailing and a sophisticated fusion of cultural influences. A designer for international stars and royalty including Beyonce, Marion Cotillard and Queen Rania of Jordan, Saab's specialty is the ultimate dress that highlights a woman's silhouette.
