I'M SHAKING. I want so badly to believe this is going where it really seems to!

it reeeeeeeeeeeally seems like it’s going that way and i am just.... beyond overwhelmed. he’s gay. he’s single. his boyfriend abandoned him. keith has never abandoned him. keith is now buff, older, and hot. shiro has had a gay panic TWICE now just LOOKING at keith. i just. i can’t believe this.

I'm not gonna lie, I'd given up on Voltron but then I saw the screenshots with all the she1th and I might be dying right now. Just when I walk away they pull me back in.

you thought you were out, then they lure you right back in with Love and Tenderness.

How long do you think they're going to drag out this clone arc? They're being really obvious about what's going on and I think K3ith's already begun to suspect something isn't entirely right with his man, though I doubt he's thinking *cloning*, so I can't imagine it carrying on for multiple seasons but at the same time I don't want to get my hopes up.

I’m hoping only for another season, honestly. As fun as it is to speculate, the Clone Trope is actually pretty common in Sci-Fi, so its... a little tired, as a trope (if you ask me). I mean, we’re getting some fresh aspects to it, especially as to how it affects Keith and his ability to lead. But I can’t imagine them dragging this out and keeping them separated for more than another season. If they do it longer than that, it’s just gunna get a little dull. 

If they want to keep this Project Kuron thing going longer, they could do a lot with it aside from strict “This Shiro isn’t Shiro, he’s a clone, and it’s a mystery” thing. Which is what I’m hoping they’ll do next season. I’m hoping the team will realize what’s up, Keith will DEFINITELY realize what’s up, and will at the very least get his Shiro back. Then they can do whatever with Shiro, his clones, and any showdowns there may be.

How is Criminal Minds? I want to watch it, but the promos made it look super cheesy and campy and just a little too kpop glamorous. I'm a big fan of the original US one so that kinda bugged me. XD

Well, I like it so far. I didn’t find the first episode cheesy or campy (well… some of the BGM choices are a bit suspect… xD;;). It sort of jumps right away into the heart of things, and I like how they introduced everyone - particularly LJG’s character Kim Hyun Jun and Son Hyun Joo’s character Kang Ki Hyung (the Hotch equivalent). That being said, it definitely has a ‘kdrama’ feel to it, if that makes any sense, lmao. It feels less like it will be a ‘case of the week’ procedural like the original series, and more like it will have overarching storylines with a focus on the team members. However, this was just the first episode (which ends on a cliffhanger lol), so I think we’ll get a better idea of what they’re aiming for after Ep2.

I do like how they created LJG’s character to be a kind of avatar for the Korean audience as they learn more about profiling, etc. Hyun Jun obviously has elements of Derek, but he’s not meant to be the Korean version of Derek. Unlike the other characters, who do have counterparts from the original series. Hyun Jun is his own, realized character and I look forward to learning more about him.

I also can’t wait to see more of the family dynamic between the team members as the series progresses (since this is a big part of the appeal of the original show), especially once Hyun Jun is officially brought into the fold.

P.S. If you’re super attached to the original series, I’m not sure how much you’ll like this since I’ve already seen heavy criticism in regards to a comparison between the two. I enjoy the US show as well, but the Korean version is definitely different in its execution.

I think you def need some wank-free asks... Do you think we'll see a change in outfits in season 7? If so, what would you like to see them wear? This isn't so much a change in outfits, but I saw a picture of Allura with shorter hair once (about shoulder length) and I would love for that to be a reality. It looked really pretty. I'd love to see Keith's hair up in a ponytail because I'm a slut for all those fanarts of Keith with his hair up. XD

holy hell are you right, i am dire need of a wank-free ask, and this has hit the spot. 

i’d be SO STOKED for some costume changes. I doubt that their outfits will change much (it’s a cartoon, cartoons like consistent outfits unless the change serves a narrative purpose, like Shiro’s clone wearing something different [which not to belabor this point, but is something i pointed out after season 3 {though a couple points in that second linked post were a little off}]) but I think a slight shift in costume is definitely a possibility. especially since they’re going to Earth!! 

i would love to see both Shiro and Keith in more casual clothes, and since we now know that Shiro’s clothes were actually Keith’s dad’s clothes, that means we haven’t actually seen how Shiro likes to dress himself. i’m stoked to see his actual sense of style. we’ve already seen Lance, Keith, Hunk, and Pidge’s casual garb, so I doubt their appearances will change too much. but yeah, like you, I’d kill to see Keith’s hair in a ponytail. It’s definitely a little longer than it was before the time shift. 

and Allura with short hair would murder me. i would lose it, in such a good way. and OH MY GOD what if we get to see Allura in casual Earth fashion?? She’s an alien, going to Earth; at some point they might need her to “blend in”, so what if she gets to wear some super cute and casual clothes from Earth???

It just gets MORE pretty as it goes on??? And if you’re like me and a sucker for super swoony stuff like idk, feeding your partner with your mouth or lugging them around after they’ve fainted this show is THE BEST. 

And I really like the king too?!? Like, his childhood is so messed up its kind of understandable that he grew up the way he did. And I appreciate that the lead doesn’t quite excuse him for his behavior, but she does make sure to point out that he’s never known any better? Plus he’s so head over heels for her from Day 1, its hard to stay mad at him and you do see his character change for the better IMO.
