"forgive me mother, for i have wished"
this is the title i have given to the growing archive of prose and poetry in its entirety, penned under the name elisabeth lindholm, or elisabeth el, or just el el.
i started writing down my poetry in 2024, but the words have been living and forming in my mind since i was capable of thought – it just never occurred to me that i could make room for more by placing them down elsewhere, still safe and existing, and not at all lost
a poem could be a confession, it could be a beautiful painting in word form, it could be a secret or a wish made upon whisper. it certainly will be all of those at varying moments, captured in words. would you care to take a look?
