OOOOOOH. You really know the way to my heart don't you? I'm in the works of writing a mini fic of the two of them that I'm gonna try to have done here soon but here are some cute date HCs 😏

So their first date happens the night Cordelia (Edit: Mina) turns 18. It was important to Max to wait because even though he's only a couple years older and they grew up together, it just felt right to wait the couple extra days and it made both of his dads swell with pride when he told them why he waited.

He wanted to do it right after all since she's not just any girl.

He was aware he'd have to glamour his skin and horns, but for this date, he didn't want to hide part of him away when they were trying to open up to eachother in a different way

He had been staying in England off and on to train with her and William, which made planning the date much easier as Devon had so much that he wouldn't need to portal them anywhere.

He shakes Jem's hand when he comes to pick her up and kisses Tessa on the cheek. They are both so amused yet charmed that Max is trying so hard when they've literally known him since he was in diapers

Jem is not one of those toxic dads to give Max a hard time okay because his baby girl can handle herself

Her brothers are not amused by the idea of her dating anyone tho

She comes downstairs and Max's breath is literally taken away??? She's wearing a cute baby pink dress that made her grey eyes stand out and her hair was hanging loose in gentle waves around her face and she's smiling so much

He kisses her hand and tells her 'Happy birthday, button.' and laughs when her eyes light up at the old nickname he had used for her when they were younger

Anyways, they leave and are definitely the couple to jam out in the car, their hands clasped between them.

Portals aren't practical okay, Max is driving a car and he loves it.

Devon has a lot of beaches and being Emma's cousin, Max knows very well that she loves the beach so he drives as close as he can get without her realizing where they are going and then opens a portal once he finds a place to park

Cordelia's (Edit: Mina) highkey torn between hitting him and kissing him when they came out of the portal because the scene she was greeted to was nicer than any date she had ever been on in a restaurant??? It was proof of how well Max knew her.

They were on a small cliff, overlooking the sunset with a picnic laid out with all of their favorite foods, clearly homemade with care

They spent the entire time laughing as they watched the sun set and when they were done, they laid back and watched the stars for hours, Cordelia (Edit: Mina) openly wondering if Max would come back see all of the same stars in a hundred years

He took off his jacket and put it around her shoulders the second he saw her shiver though the habit wasn't new- he'd been doing it for years.

When the date ended, Max was very proper in dropping her off at home and kissed her on the cheek before turning to head back to his car.

Cordelia (Edit: Mina) giggled and grabbed his arm to pull him around for a proper kiss that had him blushing??? He's so soft around her and hadn't been sure if it would be okay and here she was initiating all of these kisses like it was nothing

When they turned away from eachother, Max to go to his car and for her to go inside, they both turned and looked at eachother once again with the softest smiles before leaving.

Do you know if @thorndale is coming back? I’m ready to start a whole petition for it.

She will come back, hopefully soon, when she’ll feel more comfortable to do so :)
