gabby… who are some of your favorite artists. musical, painters, whatever u think of…

reading this got me so excited. i'm sadly not on top of the whole elite art world scene. in terms of painters i enjoy jenna gribbon and david schnell, whom i first saw in an art museum and fell in love w his art. his combination of colors, abstractness, and nature really are lovely. im a fan of photography, but i don't follow any specific photographers really, though i do have some prints by an artist named dani van winkle, so i guess that bumps her up to favorite.

in terms of art, and this will sound kinda silly to some, i'm a television fanatic and find television one of my favorite art and storytelling mediums and i take it very seriously. so if we're talking about favorite artists, in a way i will naturally always gravitate to my favorite shows and all the people behind those shows as being some of my favorites. take brit marling for an obvious example. her views of the world and work she produces is elite to me. her artistry is unmatched in my eyes, just look towards The OA for how mind-blowing her work is.

finally, in more obvious terms, my favorite musical artists are lana del rey, nothing but thieves, marina, and melanie martinez. i think all of these artists bring something unique and talented to the music scene and i'm fond of them all.

definitely want to say my pet birds. cockatiels are some of my favorites along with love birds. in terms of wild birds, im fond of the catbird.

gabby!! what are your favorite things to cook 👩‍🍳

im a big fan of pastas lol, i already love italian but being able to make a good pasta from scratch is heavenly, or something like stroganoff is fun. im also a fan of vegetable based sides when cooking idk why, i love testing out dif recipes for side dishes tho. some of my favorites are this broccoli salad recipe by carla lalli music, whose cookbook I'm loving right now, and farro charred corn salad (soooo freaking good!)

aaand a question for you! what’s your dream home look like? and what kind of environment/climate would you want to live in?

Something big, light, and airy. My very key words for what I find attractive in homes. I'm not like a minimalist or want Kim K levels of white in my space, but I like neutrals and creams and stuff in my space. I also lean traditional and contemporary, so like a mix of these things I guess. Hilariously, I was curious and took a random interior style quiz right now cause this ask got me curious and it read *clears throat* "you love spaces steeped in tradition but prefer a slightly less formal vibe". Hope that gives you an idea lmao. Basically I just want my space to feel warm and comfortable.

Would love an enclosed or private backyard space with lots of trees and a flower garden. Would definitely want some lilac bushes. I'm also a huge fan of Spanish style homes. Environment, again I'm thinking some place temperate and warm, but not like hot year round. Spain, some parts of California are beautiful temperature wise.

i occastionally drink lattes or espresso drinks, but im an avid tea drinker 🍵 so i would say a nice tea
