Asura ignored the body at his feet as he stared, mesmerized, at the soul in his hand. A faint red glow, corruption seeping from the edges...it was beautiful, really. He smiled, swallowing it. He kicked the corpse out of his way as he left the alley. These Kishin eggs were pathetic. Weak little idiots. They were no where near powerful enough to replace him; although it didn't stop them from trying continuously. 

A blur of movement caught his eye as he walked into the moonlit street. The Kishin absently licked a stray bit of blood from his hand as he observed the girl. "You shouldn't roam alone at night you know. You might run into a monster."
