We were going to go to Elk Meadows, but this is what the creek crossing looked like. Pretty sketchy. I think I could've done it no problem with trekking poles, but instead I had a leash with a 90 pound dog attached. There was another makeshift log bridge a little ways further upstream, but Ivan refused to walk over the log, so we turned around and hiked Newton Creek instead.
