Ok so a few days ago, I think, I posted a thing about this website I found called urlai.com. Put in your url, it analyzes tone, personal vs academic, probable age and gender of poster, blah blah blah. I also stated that I thought it might be skewed a bit, due to this super sad post that I had reblogged recently, as parts of the analysis web were composed almost entirely of snippets from that one post.
Turns out, I was right to go back and check it again. The first time around, my blog was 'probably written by a female somewhere between 13-17 years old. The writing style is personal and upset most of the time.' This time around, I got 'between 66-100 years old' and 'happy most of the time'. Definitely a time-frame based analysis thing.
So there we go. Random little analysis of the analysis thingy. Dunno if you guys know about this thing or care but whatever. Felt the need to share.
P.S. Fun facts: while I was writing out this post:
1. I almost wrote 1000 instead of 100. Jeez I'm ancient. But shhh. Can't tell anyone.
and 2. My cursor wandered over to the top of the screen, where the webpage tabs are, and the alt-text of the tab for the analysis page is 'kpoptreeturtles.tumblr.com writes like an old lady. Her style is personal and happy.' It was just so blunt and short-and-sweet to the point that I just kinda cracked and sat here laughing for a couple minutes.
Summary: I am an old lady. A random website has discovered my true age. Even I didn't know that I was that old. Stuck in the body of a teenager over here. I am perfectly okay with this.
