Ella didn’t mind going to recruiting dinners with Ryan, in fact anytime with him was good for her, and she knew a little ‘eye candy’ on her part never hurt in helping him getting recruits to agree. After all Ry had played professionally and ended with El on his arm, he didn’t mind the selling role she played. That, and the food and drinks were always amazing. As it was, the recruit was pushing the elder man for another drink and Ella couldn’t help the small laugh that left her as she took a sip from her glass of wine. “Take it easy boys, I don’t plan on holding anyone’s hair back tonight.” she teased playfully.

El kept her hand on Ry’s thigh throughout the ride home. It had been a good night. Fun for her, and successful for him, and she was definitely looking forward to being home with him. The man all but rushed out of the car and was already on the phone, which pulled the smallest chuckle from Ella’s lips. She knew he could get lost in his head sometimes, just like when he used to play, but she didn’t mind. Stretching her legs to catch up to him she grabbed the end of his tie, and a small smirk fell to her lips when he apologized. “I forgive you.” she teased before walking through the door, slipping her heels off and dropping further a couple inches shorter. A light laugh bubbled from her, riding a comfortable buzz as she draped her arms around Ryan’s neck, pulling him into her as green hues looked up at him. “Hmm, do you want me to wear it?” she teased, raising an eyebrow playfully.
