38. what memory do they revisit the most often?
— “as for me, it definitively has to be our first win,” a sheepish smile pops up in ella’s delicate features. “and i think i speak for everyone when i say that day was cathartic for us as a group, because none of us thought we would be getting as much success with our debut as we did... it really summed up how hard we worked and, personally, seeing the girls being so emotional and giddy made me feel for the first time that, perhaps, i’ve found my second family here, in korea,” her face gleams with fondness. “but don’t tell them i said that. they literally won’t let me breathe.”
42. how badly do they want to reach their end goal?
— “wow, i can’t even put that into words!” dawon lets out a large stringe of giggles. “nothing would make me the happiest but finally achieving what i have worked so hard for, but, you know? i think it’s ok if i take my sweet time while i’m at it.” she muses out loud. “i’m having so much fun as for now, so i don’t mind if it takes longer than the expected. those things will came around eventually, after all. besides, i get to stick with my girls so it’s a win/win!”
